This is a beautiful blade with a deep koshi sori and shinogi zukuri geometry. The blade is made of differentially-hardened 1095 steel with no bo-hi, designed for heavy cutting. The sori is 2.8cm at the deepest point and the very appealing kissaki measures 5.5 cm. The tsuba is made of alloy, the fuchi, kashira and menuki are all made of copper and feature a flower motif. The seppa and habaki are made of chrome-plated brass to give it a silver appearance. The tsuka is made of hardwood fully-wrapped with genuine black rayskin and cotton ito. The saya is made of dark brown hardwood with a partial genuine rayskin wrap and then painted over with clear lacquer to show the beautiful wood grain pattern. The koiguchi, kurikata and kojiri are made of polished, black buffalo horn.
