- 1060 Folded Steel: Offers more flexibility than higher carbon steel
- 9260 Spring Steel: Contains silicone alloy to increase shock resistance
- 1095 High Carbon Steel: Can hold a sharper edge, but must be differentially hardened
- 1095 Folded Steel: More resilient, durable, and flexible than other metals
- Clay Tempered 1095 Steel: Creates a more flexible spine, but harder edge
- Clay Tempered & Folded 1095: Combines the best of tempering and folding
- Clay Tempered & Folded Tamahagane: The most traditional Japanese forging method

After choosing the metal for your custom sword blade, you must also tell us the length of sword you prefer.

- Wakizashi: Between 30.3 & 60.6 cm
- Tantō: Less Than 30.3 cm
