Katana Shirasaya
Featuring a 1095 high carbon steel blade, this katana shirasaya is clay tempered and hand polished for a mirror-like finish. We combined our traditional Japanese swordsmithing methods with a simple wooden handle and scabbard to create a mesmerizing contrast between the glimmering blade and the clean, matte wood finish.
Our clay tempering process creates a tough and flexible blade with a genuine hamon (temper line). Repeatedly heat-treated to remove impurities, our katana with a wooden handle and scabbard is a blend of beauty and functionality.
