The complementary shirasaya mountings are made from rosewood with black buffalo horn at the mouth, with a beautiful pattern alongside it. The brass habaki and menuki are fitting to any wielder’s needs, representing a well-rounded, wonderful blade. The tang is secured with two mekugi and features a mei (signature).
