1095 High Carbon Steel Clay Tempered Japanese Choji Battle Ready Shirasaya Katana Sword
Made from clay tempered, battle-ready 1095 High Carbon steel, this shirasaya has a distinct choji hamon that ends up looking almost flamelike. The complementary shirasaya mountings are made from rosewood with black buffalo horn at the mouth, with a beautiful pattern alongside it. The brass habaki and menuki are fitting to any wielder’s needs, representing a well-rounded, wonderful blade. The tang is secured with two mekugi and features a mei (signature). This sword is a very good choice for dojo and iaido use, gifts, cutting practice, display, and collection. It is durable enough for tameshigiri, bamboo, bones, iron wire, etc. This blade is a stunning combination of beauty and functionality.
