The katana I ordered is the katana I received. I made a number of special requests and changes throughout the duration of the process adding length to the production time. Swords of Northshire kept me informed during all stages. I am very impressed by their patience and professional communication. When the blade was finished, it was immediately shipped out to me. It arrived quickly and safely and I could not be happier with the results.

Just got my finished sword today . Absolutely stunning. I ordered it on March 5th and I got it on April 18th Not bad for a handmade custom katana . It met every one of my expectations . It came oiled and beautifully sharp and the free sword bag matches perfectly. I would definitely not hesitate to purchase anything from Swords of Northshire they are extremely professional from start to finish.

I emailed swords of northshire to get more options and the definitely have a huge array of different things to customize your sword with. The sword I got was absolutely amazing and with some testing the edge did not show any signs of damage (I chose the clay tempered 1095 steel option) ands the customer service was simply amazing. Personally I spoke to Hogi and he was delightful. The price of the sword came to somewhere close to $650-$700CAD but it wouldn’t be hard to reduce the price as I payed for a lot of little details many might not choose to. I love the sword and the company that sold it to me

First off let me say what a wonderful job they did on the blade and their customer service was great!! Thanks to Hogi for the fast response time and thank you to the smith! Everything is tight no wiggle nowhere and the blade is EXTREMELY SHARP! I will definitely be ordering more from them and it arrived sooner than the date said! I love it

I was gifted the opportunity to be able to design my own custom sword from SoN-and I couldn't be happier. Customer service got back to me on a truly herculean list of questions practically daily (thank you Hogi!)-and the materials one can choose from is amazing. I designed a tiger themed Wakizashi for this Lunar year, opting for 9260 spring steel. The edge is honed and the steel glistening. The fixtures of the sword are beautiful to the eye and hand, from the gorgeous tsuba (dozens to choose from!) to the soft yet gripping ito-wrapping. To the forge, to Hogi, to all the folks at SoN-a great thank you. You are truly the best when it comes to creating someone's dream sword.
